University Expansion Contract
Columbia, SC — Southland Log Homes, designer and manufacturer of America’s Favorite Log Home™, announced that it had been awarded a contract for a major expansion of the facilities at Sam Houston State University. Stands Up to Severe Storm
Columbia, S.C. – A powerful storm destroyed a steel and wood frame storage building at the corporate headquarters of Southland Log Homes, Inc. on Monday, July 26 near Columbia, SC. The log buildings that house the company’s offices and model homes were undamaged by the reported “micro-burst” which created winds estimated to be in excess of 85 mph. There were no injuries reported from the Southland incident.
