Columbia, S.C. – A powerful storm destroyed a steel and wood frame storage building at the corporate headquarters of Southland Log Homes, Inc. on Monday, July 26 near Columbia, SC. The log buildings that house the company’s offices and model homes were undamaged by the reported “micro-burst” which created winds estimated to be in excess of 85 mph.
