Federal Tax Credit
IRMO, SC — Southland Log Home buyers looking to realize their dreams of log home living, may be eligible for a fully refundable federal tax credit of up to $8,000. A new law enacted last week expands the federal tax credit to move up homebuyers on purchases of qualifying new homes completed before July 1, 2010. In addition to this expansion, the program has been modified to extend the allowed time for first-time homebuyers and military personnel. The appointment is effective as of March 19. Mr. Sekley’s career includes nearly 30 years in consumer and industrial products, including over four years with Patio Enclosures, Inc. in Cleveland, Ohio, where he first served as president and chief operating officer prior to his appointment as Chief Executive Officer in 2007.
